No Cars In Cade's Cove Wednesday. Meet in Townsend at first paved parking lot on left, rollout time is 9:00 AM or meet us at Rich Mountain trailhead (parking permit required) around 9:45 AM. We will ride on paved road up Rich Mountain then on gravel over mountain to Cade's Cove. Several options for return. Gravel, mountain or hybrid bike best for this route. Road ride to Cade's Cove from Coulter Bridge. Meet Rich O'Connor at Coulter Bridge, located behind Heritage High School. Rollout time is 9:00 AM, complete route is 55 miles but plenty of options to make ride shorter since this is an out and back route, turn back anywhere along the route.
STILL HOT!!! Bring plenty of liquids, freeze water bottles, stop along route for ice and take breaks.
