February meeting will be February 24th at Outdoor Knoxville on 900 Volunteer Landing at 6pm. Club will provide pizza (donations are appreciated, please RSVP so we can order enough pizza). Bring your own drink, beer on tap will be available for purchase.
Come join us to hear from Carol Evans the Executive Director for Legacy Parks Foundation. Carol will discuss plans for Knoxville's greenways and outdoor areas.
Carol brings over 25 years experience in marketing, public relations and event management to the leadership position of the Legacy Parks Foundation. During her tenure at Legacy Parks, the foundation has invested more than $11 million in parks, trails, river access and open space and added over 600 acres of parkland in Knox County. Carol’s prior experience includes developing and managing marketing initiatives for the Scripps Networks, the UT Lady Vols, Knoxville Chamber Partnership, the Dogwood Arts Festival and multiple clients while with several public relations firms. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Georgia and Masters of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee.
