Last No Cars In Cades Cove Ride For 2025
Two Options:
Meet Ride Leader Rich O'Connor (maybe other ride leaders) at Coulter Bridge for a 9:00 AM road ride rollout. This route goes to Cades Cove, around loop and back for 55 miles but is out and back so lots of options for a shorter ride. You can meet road group anywhere along Townsend greenway parking lots, for reference it is around 10 miles from Coulter Bridge to covered bridge as you enter Townsend. Some may start from first paved parking lot on left in Townsend.
Gravel ride from first paved parking lot on left as you enter Townsend for a 9:00 AM rollout towards Rich Mountain trailhead where pavement turns to gravel. Ride Leaders: Ed Hall and John May, maybe others. You can drive to trailhead where paved road turns to gravel road at trailhead (Parking pass required) parking lot around 9:40 AM to join group and ride over mountain to Cades Cove. Several options to ride part of loop, maybe Forge Road then back over Rich Moutain or down Laurel Creek Road back to Townsend.
This ride series ends after this Wednesday.
