Please come out this Wednesday September 2nd for a fun ride at Bald River Falls. This route is mostly in the shade and is an out and back route. You can ride to the North Carolina state line for a total mileage of about 45 miles or turn around at Bald River Falls or any other point you wish. Depending on how many riders show up we may break into several groups. Afterwards those of you interested, we can have lunch at the Tellico Plains Grain Bakery. Also please share where you would like to see future rides.
EVENT: Bald River Falls
WHEN: Wednesday September 2nd, 2026 Rollout time 9:10 AM - Restrooms open at Tellico Plains Visiting Center at 9 AM
WEATHER: At 9 AM temperatures will be around 74 degrees and by noon around 87 degrees. Sunny and partly cloudy. As always, drink plenty of fluids during this time of year.
WHERE: Tellico Plains Visitor Center - 225 Cherohala Skyway Tellico Plains, TN
PARKING: When parking please be considerate of other guests visiting the visitor center
ROUTE: The route is about 45 miles with about 2100 feet of climbing. You can turn around at any point to shorten the route.
